About For The Love Of Me
For The Love Of Me is a mental health practice founded in 2023 by Ramona “Mona” Moncibais. With a strong passion for helping individuals improve their quality of life, Mona established this practice to offer high-quality mental health care to adults in Pueblo, Colorado. Drawing on her extensive education and unique experiences, Mona is dedicated to using client-centered and strengths-based approaches to therapy.

Education and Background
A graduate of Colorado State University (CSU) Pueblo, Mona holds both a Bachelor's degree in Psychology (2017) and a Master's degree in Social Work (2021). Her educational background has equipped her with a deep understanding of the human mind and behavior, allowing her to provide effective and empathetic care to her clients.

Additionally, Mona's background as a Marine Corps Veteran instilled in her a strong desire to support and assist other veterans facing challenges and issues unique to their experiences. This firsthand knowledge empowers her to connect with individuals from a place of understanding, fostering a sense of trust and rapport in her therapeutic relationships.


Approach to Therapy
At For The Love Of Me, Mona's approach to therapy revolves around client-centered and strengths-based methodologies. She believes that each individual possesses the capacity for growth and has within them the necessary resources to overcome life's obstacles. By focusing on the client's inherent strengths and empowering them to take an active role in their own healing process, Mona strives to help each person find their path to self-love and personal growth.
Through a collaborative and compassionate therapeutic approach, Mona assists her clients in identifying their values, goals, and aspirations. Together, they develop a roadmap to navigate through life's challenges, build resilience, and foster a positive mindset. By creating a safe and non-judgmental space, Mona encourages exploration and self-discovery, allowing her clients to develop the necessary tools and skills to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.

Sandy Schleich, LPCC

Sandy earned her bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University-Pueblo. She graduated with a major in psychology and a minor in sociology. She is a recent graduate of Grand Canyon University where she earned her master’s in clinical mental health with an emphasis on marriage and family. She is currently focusing on earning her Licensed Professional Counselor license. Her goals as a marriage and family therapist are to work with families who have family members who have become newly disabled or who already have a disability. She realizes that there is a lot of support for the disabled community, but there are fewer resources for support for family members of disabled individuals. She would like to support the families and help them deal with their loved one’s disability to help manage difficulties related to providing care and support for disabled family members. She also looks forward to working with families, couples, and individuals with any problems or issues that may be present in their lives. She has experience working with children, teens, and adults. She believes everyone, no matter their age, can use some professional guidance in times of emotional hardship.

Megan Mitchell, LSW

Megan is a recent graduate of Colorado State University-Pueblo, where she earned her Master of Social Work. She is currently focusing on earning her License in Clinical Social. As an Army veteran, she values creating a space where all of her clients feel safe, seen, and understood. Megan believes that therapy should be a supportive partnership, and she achieves this through humor, creativity, and connection. Megan is a certified clinician in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This evidence-based approach helps people improve relationships, manage overwhelming emotions, and find new ways to cope with life’s obstacles. Her goal as a licensed social worker is to help clients experiencing stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or big life transitions to find balance, clarity, and resilience. Her approach integrates practical strategies that can be used in everyday life, while also exploring the patterns that shape our experiences. She has experience working with youth and adults.

Laura Graf MSW Intern

Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Laura earned her bachelor's degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. She graduated with a major in Social work, and minors in Human Development and Family Studies and German. She is currently working towards completing her master's in Social Work from Metropolitan State University in Denver. As a queer and neurodivergent social worker, Laura recognizes the importance of supporting the whole person through the therapeutic relationship while understanding the crucial roles that all of a person's identities play in determining mental health outcomes. Laura has spent the last decade working within the education system, supporting emotionally and behaviorally challenged youth. Her goal as a practicing therapist is to partner with clients while utilizing principles of trauma-informed care to address symptoms and root causes of family and relational stress and impacts of trauma.
